Kabinet den Engelsman, at Grote Kade 20 is an antique shop with all kinds of special things. Worth stepping inside if you like furniture and things from the past. There is always something surprising.
Bubbles Themestore: Colorful clothing store, run by Amanda, for young women. This store has a living room feeling and here you will find beautiful & special clothing.
Wereldwinkel Goes wants to contribute to a fairer world. Volunteers work here so you can buy beautiful products from all parts of the world. Water street 1.
Things to do for adults

2. Collect oysters at the dike at Kattendijke and eat them at home. Eat them raw or grill them in the oven.
3. Yerseke, the mecca for mussels, lobsters, oysters and fresh fish. Go directly to the fishmonger himself. Our recommendation: Van As or the Viskeete for the very best fresh fish to take away and / or for a quick lunch.
4. To the beach: Vrouwenpolder is our favorite and a 20 minute drive. A nice child-friendly beach club is De Dam. www.de-dam.nl, Strand 80, 4354 XZ Vrouwenpolder. A small-scale beach closer is a 15-minute drive in Wemeldinge.

Things to do for kids
1. The Hollandse Hoeve is a 10-12 minute walk from our house. Large playground outside and an indoor playground for bad weather. There is also a petting zoo and mini golf course. www.vierlindengoes.nl, Kattendijksedijk 19, Goes
2. Subtropical swimming pool with large slides and tropical forest. A 10 minute walk from the cottage. Always nice, but especially if the weather is not so good for a day www.omnium.nl, Zwembadweg 3, 4463 AB Goes.
