Cursive Letter E (DN)

How to Write Capital Letter E in Cursive

Start your pencil between the top and midlines. Begin to curve up and around to the left like making a half circle, but stop when you get to the midline. Then do that same stroke between the mid and baselines. This makes what looks like a backward number 3. End with a short tail at the baseline.

How to Write Lowercase Letter e in Cursive

Cursive letter formation for lowercase letter e begins at the baseline. Begin a curved stroke upward to the right. When you reach the midline, complete a small half-circle back down to the midline. Cross over your previous line as you descend to the baseline. End the lowercase letter e with a small tail moving up from the baseline toward the midline to connect to the next letter.
